Im building an 85 gmc and im swapping a NV4500 in with a beefy small block and im gonna run 44's would a NP 208 hold up? would i be better off going with a 205?

I have an 86' Dodge W150 Ram Royal Se. I was wandering wut would be a good choice for axels while running 39.5/13.5/15 tires. It will mostly be used to get me to school and bak and my weekend off-road fun times. :) Which is mostly mud pits. And what gear ratio should i use?

I was curious for others opinions about the 8.8 inch. Is it worth it to just buy a dana 60 or can you upgrade the 8.8 to handle 40's to 44's while being cheaper than buying a dana 60?

i heard you can buy after market axels (stronger) for a dana 44 that will handle 44's. In fact the guy said he has had no problems at all. Is this true, or does he drive like my grandma? please help thanks

what needs to be done to narrow a 14 sf i have one now that is currently 68.5 inches wms to wms. i need 60 inches wms to wms. i know i need new shafts, but what do i doo with the tubes????
