i got a 99 blazer 2 dr 2wd and the motor done ****ed up on me so instead of jumpin rite into havin a new motor put into it i wanna find out how hard it would be to put a 305 tpi in it...? now i've heard the tranny wont hold up and the rearend would blow out after acouple days and that the tranny that would hold up wouldnt fit.......so i was thinkin maybe 3in body lift to clear the tranny....my question is wut all would i have to change? any advice would greatly be appreciated thanx





update..............im lookin for a 96 r newer 305 tpi obd2 for emissions purposes i need the flex plate starter wiring harness and computer  r i am looking for a 4.3 vortec
