Buchanans a blast.

Buchanans was a blast. I wish it was a little wetter but oh well, still had a good time. The very first time we went out we found a huge hole in the back that completely swallowed the front driver side 53" tire! But none the less the Big Block hit 8000 rpm and we pulled right out of it. I wish I could have seen it from outside. But where there is fun there is broke. We pushed the axle back a foot on the driver side and bent the leaf spring, but we fixed it. And it was back to the MUD. The second time out I found a decent mud hole, ate right threw it but on the way back I decided to stop in the middle of the hole and jump on it.........but right at the moment of rooster tail.......I broke the transmission i about 50 pieces! The housing in the front and back completly broke, the front shaft completely sheared off flush with the housing. It just gives me a reason to work on it. Im going to put a TH auto back in it, no more manual. The BUG got pretty muddy I would have to say.

If anyone got any action shots of it in the mud I would love to have a copy.
