54x19.50x20 boggers!!!

I was at Indy Jamboree over the weekend and they debuted a new 54x19.50x20 bogger!!!!! they had it sitting next to a 44" bogger and made it look like a 33" tire! They said the tire was just made in mold last Thursday. What was funny was it was on a 20" wheel and the tire read 54x19.50x17. I asked the guy about it and he said they was in a hurry to get the tire made that they didnt check the wheel size in the mold. He also said he thinks they will sell for around 750.00. But hes not for sure yet.

I hear ya, I was in Indy to and the tires dwarf a 44.  The dealer I talked to said that the way like 250 pounds each and that they are trying to get them closer to 200.  The center lug on them is like 4 inches apart, I like the pattern on the 44 a lot better, but hay its still 54 inches of mud eatin tire.

These beasts are definitely going to be badass.  I'm on the list at National Tire and Wheel to get one of the first few sets.  I seen them at the Indy Jamboree as well.  I agree that tready should be closer together, but NTW and Interco told me that they still need to make a few minor changes and clean some stuff up with the mold before these tires are full production ready!

why do they keep making all these tires so damn skinny? and as for as the tread i need to see a picture of one, but whats the first thing they do with a 44 bogger (cut it) . so as for as the tread being spaced out that is a good thing ive got the irocs that replaced my 48 25 20  i wish they would have built a bogger atleast 25 wide flotation is good and as for as weight those  48s are alittle north of 300 + 100 or so for the wheel. so 250 aint bad!!!!!!!! does anyone know where i can see one of these bad boys??????? whats interco's web site ?

Check out www.ntwonline.com for pics!  From what Interco told me, the 54s are currently 213 lbs and they are wanting to get them down to around 195 lbs so.  I think they look better (width wise) once they are mounted on a wider wheel than 20x12 wheel they were mounted on for these pics.  I'm going to be running my set of 54" Boggers on 20x16s Stazworks wheels.
