I did not notice a low turn out last june when I was there I was lookin forward to it since I had to miss this one hopefully he changes his mind because I always have a good time over there
i dont think the shirts make or brake the mud runs. and thats coming directly from the person that does the art work for them. you have to admit, the turn out at the summer runs isnt near as big as the rest of the year. everyone thinks that jeremy just pockets the money and makes a fortune no matter how many people show up. he puts a huge amount of the profits back into the property. you may have some different ideas on where to spend the money but its not your place.
Yeah but you can not seriously tell me that not having the mudrun he is saving more money than having one. Insurance and staff can not add up to more than what is being brought into the door. But as you said it is his decision, and if he wanted to he could cut it back to only 2 a year like buchanans. Myself would rather go to mudruns in the spring and summer, because it is to damn cold during the winter, but it is also hot and the pits dry up easy to in the summer...so I guess it is a win lose situation.
whatever the season may be, im getting tired of all the stupid crap you have to put up with when you go down there. the fights are getting out of hand, and the parking in the event is a joke. i know theres no way easy way to avoid the fights and the security is grossly out numbered but people just go down there expecting it and looking for it. you dont see that junk at buchanans. at custom its just 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag. i hate to say it because im as big of a drinker as the next guy, but maybe if you cut out the booze for a while you might get rid of some of the problems. god i cant believe i said that. i sound like my father.
say it isn't so. i hope you guys have false info. i got my blazer running 2 days after the mud bash. wtf i was hoping maybe may or june. jesus if i have to make my blazer last tilOctober i don't know what i'm gonna do. Where is this Buchanan's anyhow?
the line isnt to bad. i wont say there isnt a line, though you pay as you drive in and they check for booze at that time it never hurts to get there early.
u get there bout 600-730 u wont have any problem getn through the line in no time............i got there at 6 one yr nutn to do n nobody around so i took a nap...only had my 2wd at the time.............but anyhow point is wutever time u show up it wont take long for u to get n.........and therez no one big pit were u wait in one big line

I dont think you'll understand what ford225 is saying so ill say it.... if you get ther early or later in the day....no line getting in the park, but if you get there late morning early afternoon 50 cars in front of you, 50 cars behind you and if you hauling a big trailer with a stick, some moran in a honda civic that has no place there will be so far up your ass you'll just feel like rolling right back into him!!!!! But anyways there is never any lines in the pits. Custom-differentials has maybe 7 acres to play, Buchanans has I believe over 100 acres to play. It's a blast!!!!
