I have an 88 f250 with a 460 in it, it is fuel injected. If i want to put a stealth intake on it will it bolt rught up or will i need to change anything? Any information will be a big help trying to get there on the 17th. thanks
The bolt holes are the same in the heads, but the ports are designed differently--they won't match up real well with the stealth intake. The efi ports are round whereas the carb heads are wore oval shaped.
I have seen people use the stock lower intake and modify a regular one inch spacer to use a carb on top of it. The stock lower intake is basically a low-rise dual plane. I think you need a quadrajet style adapter if my memory is correct.
It's only a couple of plug in connectors and 4 bolts that hold the upper intake on--take it off a see what you think. The gasket is only a couple bucks.
