I have two NV4500 5 speed tranys for sale, both are 6.34 to 1 first gear (rare) one is out of a 93 3500 chevy. I got this truck wrecked with an odomiter reading of 22 thousand asking $1100 obo. The other is out of a 94 2500 chevy. It has a fresh rebuild $1600 firm with your choice of 2 or 4 wheel drive.
These trans are quite possibly the best that have ever been made. Do you have earth shattering low gears on your truck or jeep to turn massive tires in the harshest conditions you can find? and do you still like to street it? If so these are the trans for you. They have the best of both worlds, they are a tuff as nails cast iron construction with a super low first gear of 6.34 to 1. and a 5th gear over drive of 0.73 to 1 making this trany really street able. with all 5 gears being in constant mesh and all speeds synchronized it is a pleasure to drive. If your having problems with durability because of a built motor, that’s not a problem. this trans was built to handle 450 ft-lbs of torque, and a combined gross weight of 19,000 pounds. Don’t have a Chevy? not a problem. these are some of the most wanted for tranny swaps thus there are adapters for every application, dodge, all jeeps, Toyotas, fords and some others
