And I agree...if I don't like something, I don't do it. However, if many people feel this sentiment about the event it won't continue to be as packed as you say. And I did not say that I didn't enjoy the event, if anything other people's comments should be constructive criticism to make the events better. There was more on these other forums than just talk of alcohol. For example, there were people who were not allowed practice runs on the rocks and others who were. However, eliminating alcohol would also decrease the risk of someone being injured, suing, and ruining it for everyone.
I agree if you don't like what happens then don't go. Jeremy doesn't claim that his shows are family events. The biggest problems with eliminating alcohol at an event is that people WILL sneak it in a drink anyway, that coupled with the added expense of added enough security and staff to be able to enforce the no drinking policies. Peolpe may argue that if you stop all vehicles and check coolers then that will stop it-- NO it won't, people can and will get alcohol in anywhere they want it if they want it bad enough. If you stop and search every cooler and every vehicle then you back up lines and it takes all day just to get in to an event.
I've been to almost every place around to wheel in and no matter what the rules were, someone has alcohol. What it really comes down to is the people themselves if you want a better show then the people at the show are the only ones who can make it happen- with the amount of people that come it just isn't going to happen easily- I say Grow the hell up and have a good time- drink if you want to- and just think a little before you act and respect those around you. I haven't had fun at Jeremy's in Captain RPM since a few New Year's ago when I did the motor home stunt. It's got to be a pain trying to wade through the rookies and waiting in line to get into a pit- BUT I will be back soon I've just been to lazy and broke to work on my truck. I will be back this year with a vengeance

i havent been in here in a while since i cant seem to remember my other name. But I work down at Jeremys for the mud runs working security and the mud pits. And people will sneak alcohol in like Smitty said. New Years we were having problems with bottles in the back. I just seemed that we would take 10 or 12 of them and then another 10 or 12 would show up 10 minutes later so theres really no way to stop them. And 4 or 5 people not going down there really wont hurt Jeremy very much anyways. So quitcha bitchen and throw back a cold one
