On August 23,2006 shortly after midnight we lost a very close friend and driver, Valerie Dellenbach. (#44 Blue and Raspberry Ford) She lost her life in a car accident on highway 67 north of Godfrey, IL.
Valerie’s death has left her two children (Jason and Denise) without a mother and her husband Don without a wife.
All of us here at Wild Country feel we need to do something to help ease the pain just a little, so we are asking for your HELP.
On Saturday, September 16,2006 we will be holding a Memorial/Benefit Race. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. truck and ATV registration from 10:00a.m. to 12:30p.m. and races beginning at 1:00 p.m. There will be an auction throughout the day and a live band after the race. We will have trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, with all of our proceeds going to the Dellenbach family. So please come help us support a good cause, the husband and children of a great lady and fellow racer, Valerie Dellenbach.
