midwest mud hawgs

has anyone ever been to the midwest mudhawgs runs near red bud illinois? it was fun, great officials, I recommend it to anyone that wants to play for next year. They are done for this year... we went sat and had the time of our lives! ended up with 3 2nd places in the 3 classes I ran so not to shabby! It is sorta rough though, or it was this time with all the rain and stuff. I blew my front passenger tire the 1st class, and then another racer let me use one of his to run the 2nd class, and I blew that one too. so we ethered the hell out of them, gave his back, threw mine back on, and away we went. the officials and other racers were very very nice about it, they gave us as much time as it took, and even offered use of their items that we didnt or forgot to bring. It was one hell of a day and we will go back!!!
Also we are planning to come to jeremys the 21st, but was wanting to know the quickest way from say Alton Illinois area. If anyone is from around here, let me know so either we can get directions or follow someone up there. And sorry John Deere Mud, we wont be bringing anything, his truck broke, mine is too pretty...hahhaha and the other one aint done yet. My play truck would be an option, but it only has 33s on it and no lift and well no anything really...lol But we will be there so look for us,. If you have something that might be able to pull out an 1969 F600 crew cab 4x4 then maybe we will bring it but we will see...

Take I-255 until it crosses the river into missouri and changes to I-270, then follow I-270 a couple miles and take I-55 south past Arnold, past Pevely, past Herculaneum, past Festus, past the hwy 67 exit, past the hwy 61 exit and it is the next exit at OO/DD, then follow the signs!

me... crazy.... hahaha that aint the first time that I have heard that. yeah I remember you telling me about that place john, I forgot that was where it was, I have hear dthat they are running things a lot different then when they first started, even from last race to this race. Our club has been trying to help them a little bit, and give them some pointers on what and what not to do, so hopefully they will work on it some more next year. I can't believe someone called me crazy...lmao now thats too funny, it wasnt my trucks fault though, it was the pits, they were screwy at first I swear!!!
Thanks for the directions, I hope we can find it, one of my delievery guys at the bars says he comes every time or something like that. so he said today that if we needed to we could just follow him if we needed to. Cant wait to see ya'll. and I want a ride with someone please!!!! Since I aint bringing my truck, I want a ride... just onelittle teensy ride...lol
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

mudmama, if your coming from alton the quickest way would probably be to go straight down 270 till you get to 55. go south on 55 and follow the other directions from there. your looking at at least an hour and a half of drive time.
