January 1st!!!!!! Right around the corner!

Man I can't wait its been to long with no wheelin! Although the bug will miss this once again, I just bought a 1978 dodge club cab 4x4 to play with. Nothing special but wheeling is wheeling! Maybe we will get like 2 foot of snow to change things up a bit. Hope to see everyone at Jeremy's!

we want the bug!   we want the bug! leave the dog at home !!!!!!!!

 just kiddin

we just need more big trucks and not all these trucks that are affraid of the pond

mine wont be there but i should have the ranger running if im in town long enough they shipping me to baton rouge for 2weeks beginning dec. 3rd and then who knows how long.

so what all is broke on the bug that you cant get it fixed before the first ?

i exploded a piston last time at customs out in the middle of the pond and trashed the whole motor

i pulled the head thinking it was a valve and all i saw was a connecting rod and wrist pin staring me in the face. pucnched a nice whole through the side of #2 cylinder wall and busted three rockers know telling how long i ran it like that because it didnt sound any different then when i loaded  it and played all day did smoke a little more

The old transfer case was mated to the 4 speed, and the driveshaft angles were to much. Well now I want to go with a divorced transfer case but the bug is so short that moving it back enough to run a driveshaft from the transmission to the transfercase will cause an even larger angle on the rear. And I cant just drop the TC because then I will have to much of an angle on that driveshaft! It is just becoming a nightmare. Im probably going to have to run 2 transfer cases to get the angles right, and I have been so busy to figure anything out with it. But it will definatley be done for buchanan's next FEST.

why didnt you just say so . i have what you need taking up space in my yard  (2 1/2 tn case out of 6x6 ) plenty of drop . we ran another mated 205 in front of this one when we had the blazer on 48" . when i built the ranger i just added two 205's  a mated to a divorced the wheel base on the ranger isnt any longer than your bug and the angles are great.

see if you wouldnt have bought the dog you would have the money to fix the bug!!!!

if you could find me a running 429 or 460 i would probally trade you that  t -136 case  there's probally a 12 " drop on the case and you wouldnt have to run two ( i like the gearing of 2 though)  if your going to run big tires you better be able to turn them (all 4 over ) not like the pink truck and only turn 1

talk to me we can work something out.

also i think i still have a mated 205 for a turbo 350 laying back there but the tranny is gone .

so if interested let me know

Hey what do you want for the 6x6 TC, cashwise? And the old dog only cost me $550! I couldnt pass it up with rebuilt axles and Transmission, and a built 360.! Get back to me I may be able to work something out with you.

What are you talking about? The truck was actually very well built!!!!! Just certain things here and there need some working. When I got the truck it had no brakes, (I had to redo a few things, like rebuild the drum brakes), Shocks, he had the spring shakles on the front of the leaf spring and I have to move them to the back of the springs, also when I got it there was about 6 inches of mud in the gas tank. I ruined the tranny at buchanans (but that is ok do to me wanting an automatic anyways!) Thats about it! Trying, not promising but trying to get it done for New Years!

Yeah just got the dog this time, didn't get my driveshaft done in time, everyone is off this weekend and it has been a crazy month. Oh well it will be done in time for Buchanan's, thats the main thing, just not enough room to play with big big toys at jeremy's anymore, its mainly water and rock. I wish they would change it up a bit maybe doze some dirt around or something. See you all on the 1st.
