alright the stuff i dont knoow about now where can i purchase full hydraulic steering never seen what anyone else was running usually was looking at the tires lift and axles and the motor noise. i plan on running 44 to 52 on this thing depending on what i might decide and the clearance i have. so to anyone where might i start it is on a jeep by the way. parts places people to talk to any help apreciated thanks mark
save all the head aches and call jeremy at cust diff. believe me it can be a nite mare if you have one bad used part in there .
and i will tell you jermey's price might seem high but i can say i could have bought two of his kits for what i have spent trouble shooting mine the first time . and do not take it to a hydralic shop they will ream you hard.
i'm talking 600. + to tell me i had dirt in the orbital valve.
i run a gm saginaw pump get the back off of a safari van, or just by a new one 49.00 at oriely's they use a remote reservoir then just go pick on up at the junk yard a bottle
the orbital valve you can buy them in sikeston mo at any tractor salvage yard , it a charlyn and the steering column that attaches to the valve . your looking to spend 100-150. for those parts
the cylinder pick up a 2x8 big chief at bucheits about 50-70.00 or any farm cylinder. we run a 2x8 on three of our trucks or you may try a 2 1/2 x 8 that is what i'm going to as long as you have enough fluid (air is bad)
and pick up a small tranny cooler to but on the return side of the pump. 50-70
have some lines made your looking at about 50-100.00
ok so add that up and you can just about by a complete kit
so im guessing there not really any way to save money on a full hydraulic steering. thats what it sounds like to me but thats cool. thanks for the info though and wich truck is yours that u run i havent got mine up there yet project.
